More growth.
Less guesswork.

Loom builds the structure, strategy, and exit-readiness that owner-led businesses need to grow on purpose — not by accident. Direct, data-driven, and built to be finished.

Four things we build to grow your business.

Not another course, coach, or cold-call framework. A direct, data-driven system built around how your business actually runs.

01

Structure

We map the operations, roles, and decisions that currently only live in your head — and put them somewhere the business can run without you in the room.

02

Growth strategy

Scale, sell, or stabilize — mapped with real trade-offs, including the growth-by-acquisition path most owners never seriously consider.

03

Exit readiness

The financial package, the data room, the story. We prepare the business to be sold at its best price, years before you actually sell it.

04

Partner protection

Shareholder agreements and buy-sell structures — the conversations nobody wants to have until it's too late to have them well.

The system behind every engagement.

Every Loom engagement runs the same honest sequence: (1) Diagnose the business, (2) Decide the direction, then (3) Deploy the work.

Step 1 — Diagnose

Know what the business is actually worth.

A 90 minute audit and an owner-dependency score.
Replace guesswork with a plain, unflattering picture of where the business really stands today.

Step 2 — Decide

Pick a direction with real trade-offs on the table.

Scale, sell, or stabilize — each path mapped against your numbers, your timeline, and what you actually want the next five years to look like.

Step 3 — Deploy

Put the structure in place, with someone accountable for it.

Operations, sales, hiring, and partner agreements get rebuilt in order — with Lee managing the work, not just handing you a deck and disappearing.

The honest path forward.

The Blueprint is organized the way Loom runs its engagements: diagnose the business, decide the direction, deploy the work, prepare the departure. Each module is short, direct, and built to be finished.

The Honest Audit

A twelve-question diagnostic that forces the truth out of the numbers you've been avoiding.

Where the money actually lives

Unit economics for owners who never went to business school (or forgot what they learned there).

The owner-dependency test

How much of your business walks out the door when you do? A simple scoring model to find out.

Three paths, not twelve

Scale, sell, or stabilize. We map the decision with actual trade-offs — not motivational slogans.

Growth by acquisition

The path most owners never seriously consider. When it makes sense, when it doesn't.

The exit you want

Defining the number, the timeline, and the kind of buyer — before the market defines them for you.

Operations you can hand over

The systems, documents, and roles that make your company run without you holding it together.

Sales, restructured

Rebuilding a pipeline that isn't personality-dependent. Funnels that keep working when you aren't selling.

Hiring the first real leaders

How to stop hiring helpers and start hiring operators — with a framework for the first three seats.

Protecting your partners

Shareholder agreements, buy-sell structures, and the conversations nobody wants to have until it's too late.

Prepping for the room

The financial package, the data room, the story — what buyers want, in the order they want it.

After the deal

What the founder's next chapter actually looks like — and how to not blow it up in the first twelve months.

This is for owners who want a plan — not a pep talk.

You'll get something out of this if…

  • You run a small-to-mid-sized business (roughly $750k–$3M in annual recurring revenue).
  • You feel the company is carried by you personally, and you know that's a problem.
  • You're open to difficult conversations about structure, ownership, and exit.
  • You want data on the table, not stories.
  • You're considering a sale in the next 2–15 years — or should be.
  • You want accountability to success.
  • You want feedback on how to get better in your business.
  • You want an honest layout to success.

Do NOT apply if…

  • You want a template you can copy without reading.
  • You're looking for a pre-revenue startup playbook.
  • You'd rather not know what the numbers actually say.
  • You want someone to tell you you're already doing great.
  • You are ok with your existing situation.
  • You do not want to grow.
  • You never want to sell your company.
  • You are ok with no systems to make your life easier.
  • You do not want more sales.

Written by Lee Forsberg — founder of Loom, after twenty years of building and selling his own.

I am not consultant who read the books. I am an owner who's lived it. Through the wins, and more usefully, through the losses.
Loom Consulting exists because too many owners arrive at the exit table with a business that only works when they're in it, and no blueprint for what happens next. No matter what stage you are at in your company, and exit plan needs to happen. We build a business worth buying!

Lee said things to me in the first hour that my board had been dancing around for two years. The blueprint is the same: direct, uncomfortable, and exactly right.

A short FAQ.
Because long ones are usually hiding something.

Is this actually free? What's the catch?+
Nothing is free. Yes this works — you are welcome to talk with any of our past clients. If you have any doubts, the call to find out is free.
I'm pre-revenue. Will this help me?+
Probably not. The Blueprint assumes you have a running business with customers, partners, payroll, and decisions that involve real trade-offs. If you're pre-revenue, go build something first and come back when it's working.
How long does it take to work through?+
A focused weekend gets you through the full diagnostic and the first decision chapter. The deployment chapters take longer — they're meant to run alongside your operations, not replace a weekend's worth of thinking.
Do I need my financials in front of me?+
For the diagnostic chapters, yes — at minimum the last 24 months of P&L and a recent balance sheet. The Blueprint is opinionated about this: data beats narrative, always.
Will you try to sell me something?+
Yes. If I see there is a fit. If not, no! There is no obligation, but again, read the reviews, listen to the testimonials and decide for yourself.
Can I share it with my team or partners?+
Please do. In fact, most of the value comes from working through the partner and operations chapters together. The PDF is licensed for your team, not for republication.

Your business should be a forever thing — or a thing you can sell.

Either way, it needs a plan.
